On Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 10:25 hours, Lyons Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 36 Jackson St. Engine 6 and Truck 1 took the assignment under the direction of Chief Witt and Assistant Chief’s Darcangelis and Rios.
Engine 6 reported smoke showing from the A – D corner of a 2 1/2 story, wood frame residential. Crews made quick work of extinguishing the fire, bringing the assignment under control within minutes of arrival.
LFD was further assisted on location by the Lyons Town Ambulance and the Lyons Police Department. The assignment was back in-service at 11:04 hours.
