On Sunday, September 17, 2006, the Lyons Fire Department held their monthly training at 8-82 Geneva Street. The department was asked by the new property owner to burn the two preexisting structures down. LFD utilized this opportunity to run ventilation, pump operation, and drafting drills.
This training was conducted under the direction of Chief Witt and Assistant Chief Paliotti.
