On Saturday, February 4th, 2012, the Lyons Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fire in the 2nd floor of a residence. Upon arrival Chief Witt reported a 2 story wood frame structure with flames showing from the 2nd floor.
Engine 6 arrived on scene and the crew began a quick interior attack, under the direction of Assistant Chief Darcangelis. Truck 1 responded and assisted with ventilation and overhaul.
The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes.
