On Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 17:37 hours, Lyons Fire Rescue, along with Lyons Town Ambulance, was dispatched to a reported partial structural collapse at 25 Pearl St. Engine 7 took the assignment along with Chieff Witt and Assistant Chief’s Darcangelis & Rios.
While responding, Command was notified that a vehicle had struck the building, causing structural damage and left the scene.
Upon Engine 7’s arrival, noticeable damge was found to the corner of the building. The suspect vehicle and operator were later located by law enforcement.
LFD was assisted on location by Lyons Town Ambulance, Lyons Police Department, and the Lyons Code Enforcement Officer. The assignment went back into service at 17:57 hours.
