Lyons Fire Department maintains a roster of state-trained firefighters and EMT’s that allow us to provide outstanding service to the residents of Lyons and the surrounding communities. We pride ourselves on the standards for which we operate, and we are always looking for new faces to join our ranks.
If you are at least 18 years of age, have lived in the district for at least 6 months and are interested in becoming a part of our department, please contact the Chief or stop by the station during regular business hours.
Applications are accepted in a rolling fashion, and you need not have experience to apply. Thanks for showing interest in our department!
